The Forest County Coalition on Activity and Nutrition (Forest County CAN!) is encouraging people of all ages to get outside and enjoy everything Forest County has to offer by participating in our 2021 Active Outdoor Challenge!
To be more inclusive and to encourage all ages and abilities to participate, we are challenging Forest County residents to 100 hours of active outdoor time June 1st – August 31st. Active outdoor time includes anything and everything outdoors in Forest county: gardening, hiking, kayaking, playing pickleball, playing tag in the backyard, stargazing, swimming, bird watching, bike riding, fishing, etc.
Share your progress online by using the hashtag #forestcountycan
Participants may begin to track their active outdoor hours beginning June 1st. on our challenge tracker available for download below or you can pick up a paper copy of the tracker at Forest County public libraries and/or the Forest County Chamber.
Participants who submit a completed 100 active hours tracker by September 10th will be entered into a drawing for $100 worth of Forest County Chamber Bucks.
